Description

At Blue Jay BJJ, we're more than just a martial arts academy—we're a community dedicated to growth, respect, and technical excellence. Located in the heart of the city, our state-of-the-art facility offers comprehensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for practitioners of all levels, from curious beginners to seasoned competitors. Founded by black belt instructor Jason Rivera, Blue Jay BJJ embodies the principles that make Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu such a transformative martial art: leverage over strength, technique over aggression, and strategic thinking over brute force. Our name reflects our philosophy—like the intelligent and adaptable blue jay, we emphasize technical precision, tactical awareness, and the ability to thrive in any situation. Our curriculum features structured classes for adults and children, competition training, women's-only sessions, and specialized workshops throughout the year. Beyond technical instruction, we foster an environment where members develop confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships. Whether your goal is self-defense proficiency, competitive success, physical fitness, or personal development, Blue Jay BJJ provides the expert guidance and supportive atmosphere to help you soar to new heights. Come join our flock. The first class is always free.
